I've said this before, and I'll say it again - I'm on the lookout for my perfect hair products. I have dry, frizzy, curly hair and I'm always looking for something that will give me moisture without weighing my hair down, without coating my hair and making it feel like plastic, and without irritating my sensitive scalp. I was really intrigued by these products when they first came out mainly because I've for some reason always thought Schwarzkopf was a fancy brand, and they were developed with a big name. Who am I kidding" The packaging drew me in too.
These are $8.97 CAD each at Walmart, which is quite pricey for drugstore hair care products. I wouldn't mind paying that price if I loved the products, but *spoiler alert* to me, these ones aren't worth it. You do get a lot of product though for the price.
The packaging is nice, I like the colours and it is functional with no issues. There is quite a lot of writing on these products though, without ever actually making much of a claim about what the product is going to do.
This shampoo and conditioner smells amazing, that's for sure. It's hard to even describe the scent but it's something that smells nice without being too overly sweet - and could probably even be unisex. The scent sticks around too, which is nice. The shampoo rinses out leaving my hair feel clean without being stripped which I love. Unfortunately, there are silicones in this product and after following with the conditioner, my hair feels completely coated with crap and feels worse than it did when I rinsed out the shampoo. I really liked the shampoo, but I am a person who likes to use things that are of matching brands in my hair for whatever reason, and I won't ever be repurchasing the conditioner.
These products are a no-go for me. I don't like having my hair feeling like plastic or coated with something and that's exactly what this will do. It might help with breakage ...
