Over the last few weeks or so I've been trying to grow my nails to a more healthy length. For years I have bitten my nails with the odd occasional time when I've managed to grow them and I doubt this time will be no different. Sometimes I like to treat myself to the odd set of acrylic nails for special events but to cut down on the cost of wanting nice nails I thought I'd try growing them for a change and test out my will power. At the moment I'm doing well and I wanted to share with you what nail polishes I've been applying to my nails whilst they're looking healthy and have more length to them. I think this is probably the first ever post I've done on nail polishes and it isn't because I'm not a fan of painting my nails in fact I have a vast collection of different shades to choose it's just that I never have any nails to apply it on to.
To help my nails grow and to avoid biting them I always start off by apply the Avon Experts 24k Gold Strength £5.00. This polish is enriched with real gold providing your nails with that natural healthy look, sometimes I feel just by adding a nail treatment you are less likely to bite your nails as once they are polished you don't want to bite them and have crumbs of product in your mouth.
Definitely without a doubt my most luxurious nail polish has to be the Azature Champagne $10.00. The Azature polishes are the only ones in the world to be infused with real black diamond, this Champagne shade is perfect for the festive season although I do like to break it out every now and again if I'm going on a night out as a treat. Not something I'd usually pick up but I received it in a Selfridges beauty box a while back and instantly fell in love with it. Of course being in the shade Champagne it is super sparkly with a glitter overload just how I like it, but surprisingly hard wearing and doesn't chip easily unlike many other glitter polishes I've tried out in the past.
