Today I shall be introducing a lovely matte bronzer for medium skin tones which is new and is an LE item so if you like it - snap it up fast! And also on the beauty menu for today we have a Rimmel Lip Laquer Apocalipse dupe on our hands. Such a fun post this will be! Manhattan Matt Bronzing Powder in Medium (12g cost approx 5?) is not something pale skin tones might appreciate. Even the Light shade seems dark for you but has a slightly more yellow/golden undertone whilst the Medium shade is definitely a medium chocolate brown (not orange, not yellow/golden and not grey - right in the middle). At first glance, I thought the Medium shade would be too dark for me but I must admit how surprised I was after I've tried it out! It looks decent packaging-wise, nothing too fancy and mostly practical (transparent pan) but the dune-like imprint onthe surface does look interesting. I cannot appreciate enough the fact how it's a rarity to find a good matte drugstore bronzer and this one is definitely matte (no shimmer in sight!). The very fine and soft texture is perfectly blendable (acceptable amount of fallout detected, nothing major) and as if it melts into the skin and adds a wonderful tropical bronzed skin look. Pigmentation is quite good and I tend to apply it with my Real Techniques Duo Fiber Face Brush but even with other brushes the application is smooth and patch-free. It looks very natural despite its deep hue and it is absolutely perfect for adding that "I just came back from Maldives" kinda look. It looks effortlessly beautiful and it doesn't make the complexion dull since its matte finish looks quite soft.
