I was really excited to try this line from Garnier because I love anything honey scented! I'm all for trying anything that claims to be gentle - which is the basis of the entire Whole Blends line. The Honey Treasures line in particular claims to strengthen hair, and prevent split ends and breakage.
The price of these products is great - absolutely nothing to complain about there at $4.97 each regular price.
I like the packaging for these shampoos and conditioners. They are easy to use, a nice shape and not overly huge that they are hard to store in the shower. They do offer bigger sizes than these however if you want more product and want to replace them less often. I like the design and I like how easy it is to see what the products are meant to do.
The shampoo is very creamy and has a great lather. It glides easily through the hair and cleans gently. It doesn't leave my hair feeling overly dried out. The conditioner is thick and creamy, and I don't need to use a lot of it to cover all of my hair which is amazing because I have really long hair. I usually run out of conditioner much faster than shampoo, and I ran out of these at around the same time. The conditioner rinses out nicely, leaving hair feeling smooth. I should have known from the claim "prevents split ends and breakage" that this product would coat my hair - which isn't a feeling that I like very much. I didn't find it to actually hydrate my hair, which is something I really look for in my shampoo and conditioner. The scent was great though and my husband commented that my hair smelled good.
Unfortunately, this particular shampoo and conditioner are something that I won't purchase again. The best thing about them for me was the scent, but the fact that they coat my hair is something that I just don't enjoy at all. I need something that is hydrating without faking it. If you have normal hair and don't mind products that are meant to smooth ...
