Maybelline 24h Color Tattoo and Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Paints are my two favorite drugstore creamy eyeshadows. If I'm not using my Urban Decay Naked/ Naked Basic palettes, I'm probably reaching out for some of the aforementioned eyeshadows. They're amazingly pigmented, creamy but set fast and they're reliable as in - they stay put on my eyelids for the majority of the day. I was intrigued by the cream to powder eyeshadow pots Bourjois pushed onto the market over a year ago. However, swatching them in the drugstore I realized they're rather shimmery and they're not cheap either being priced at approx £9. Despite my interest, I decided to skip them but during all this time, I've been keeping my eye on them. Reading reviews, swatching them on and off - they somehow remained of a beauty interest. That's why I was super excited to test the Bourjois Color Edition 24h Cream To Powder Eyeshadow in Pétale de Glace. I finally got a chance to form a true opinion on these eyeshadows! Bourjois creamy eyeshadows are rather reminiscent of the Maybelline Color Tattoos - but there are differences. Packaging-wise, Maybelline gets bonus points for using glass thus imparting a more luxe vibe of the product. Bourjois all plastic packaging looks visually very similar (clear bottom, black lid, flat pot and all) but to be honest, not too shabby either. When held in each hand, both eyeshadows have certain weight (Bourjois doesn't seem too 'cheap' to me).
