Hello my fellow beauty lovers!
It's Birchbox time again! If you don't know what Birchbox is, it's a monthly subscription service where you receive 4-5 deluxe sized beauty samples for $13.56 if you're Canadian. Lucky Americans only pay $10...
You can sign up using my referral link here (I don't get paid, I just get points!):
The theme this month is focused on making the most of the rest of the summer "embracing air dried hair, ensuring our skincare is spf-heavy and keeping makeup minimal."
Let's get into the products...
Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper Gel (Full Size: $17.50)
"Water-based, never crunchy formula that fends off frizz and leaves curls sleek and shiny."
I cannot wait to try this product! I've heard of this brand before and I'm always looking for something to make my curls perfect (if that even exists). I do wish this came in better packaging than a cardboard packet, but what can you do"
Crabtree & Evelyn Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy (Full Size: $32)
"Made with macadamia oil and shea butter, this ultranourishing cream hydrates and protects hands."
I don't love receiving these types of products in subscription services, but then again it's always nice to have hand lotions around in small sizes to throw in your purse. The macadamia oil and shea butter ingredients sound promising, but this has a very perfumey scent which I don't really enjoy. It does have a thick, creamy consistency that I really like though, so we'll have to see how this goes...
Balance Me Congested Skin Serum (Full Size: $34)
"Calming spot treatment that fights blemishes, refines pores, and balances skin without drying."
I am actually really excited to try this! I've been breaking out around my chin lately and this arrived just in time - I really need a spot treatment! I can't wait to see how this works - It's 99% natural, and I'm really intrigued by that.
